Did you know that cards were once a new art form? Put Toulouse-Lautrec was an early practitioner. There was interest in fairytales and dance as well as local views and series or sets. Through Gotham Book Mart and Gallery I learned more from the Metropolitan Post Card Collectors Club; Edward Gorey was a regular at the Gotham.

The Museum Store at the Molly Brown House carries Betsy’s cards and prints of “Parlor at Christmas.” The store also has her story note cards “Nutcracker and The Mouse King,” retelling the Nutcracker Holiday dance story including the Journey to the Land of the Sweets.
